Henry

Stocking up before the coming panic buying begins.  Took 2 1/2 months to get this.  My first Henry.  I have stockpiled Starline brass and Missouri Cast bullets.

That's nice!
Is it a .45-70?

Yes, it is 45-70.  It is the new steel case hardened model.  22" barrel.  I have another 45-70 with skinner sights.  This one is getting a low power scope.

Excellent choice.

Yes, the barrel is like the old Colt Royal Blue.  There really is no Marlin or Winchester  anymore.  Henry is really taking up the slack with their new steel models.

I was impressed with Henry.  When the 45/70 came in I turned around and ordered this one.
