Emergency Preperation Tip
« on: July 19, 2017, 07:16:50 am »
I see more and more people who rely on credit and debit cards for their day-to-day expenditures, especially among the younger generations.  But keep this in mind; in a some emergency situations you may be unable to conduct electronic transactions, and if the power is out, the banks / stores will be closed and the ATM's wont work.

I suggest that you all keep on hand, as a minimum, equal to one weeks cash, and more if possible.  It should be kept in small denominations.  The last thing you want to do in an emergency or survival situation is try to pay for a $20 purchase with a $100 bill.  The seller may not have change, or worse, my want your $100.  In a survival situation, no one wants your check!

Just another tip to consider.
