Don't forget about Gebos... They had a lot of .223 last time I was in there.

Brenda Tyler at Tyler Guns and More in Plainview has PDA in .45 ($49/box of 20) and 9mm ($35 +/- for a box of 20).  I think she may have others as well so you may want to call first.  She is only open Mon - Thur.

Same stuff in Borger WalMart, if it's the Federal 115g FMJ. $9.47 per 50.

Went to Wal-Mart on Coulter this morning to get the oil changed in my wife's Explorer. Went by the ammo counter & they had a little mixed ammo that hadn't been put out yet. I got the last 3 boxes of Remington UMC .45 ACP FMJ @ $18.97/box. THE GOOD NEWS HERE IS THAT THE GUY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTER TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE GETTING MORE AMMO IN THE SHIPMENTS NOW. SAID IT WAS STILL SLOW & STILL SOLD AS SOON AS IT HIT THE SHELF BUT AT LEAST IT WAS COMING IN.  The light at the end of the tunnel?

Gander had .45 UMC for 137.00 for 200.
That works out to be about 27 dollars for a box of fifty.

WW in Borger had 4 boxes of .44 Magnum left when I was in there half an hour ago (I was looking for 9mm and .303 British, so didn't have much luck).

Did you guys know that the Walmart at the Blvd and Tascosa Road sells handgun ammo.  I didn't know until Monday when I was talking to the clerk.  They keep it out of sight under the counter.  However, the clerk told me that as part of their ongoing remodel they are getting a new display case for it.  I live close to there so I will keep you informed.

Yep, they hide it so you can't see what they have.

I like the way the Georgia WalMart is set up and Tascosa is supposed to be the same way after the remodel.

Walmart on 45th and Coulter - Blazer Brass 9mm - $9.90 ish - Sunday and...

Walmart Boys Ranch Road Winchester white box 9mm - $19.96 - week ago Sunday...

6 box limit on both - they had plenty of both / they also know what ammo they will be getting in at 12 noon the day before - just ask maybe they will tell you... They are also not putting anything on the shelves, you have to ask...

If you ever come over to the New mexico side of the border; or the NRA whittington which is here:

BJ's shootin shop, Raton - .45acp for about 25.00 a box hit and miss supply
.40SW ranges from 18.00 to 24.00 a box
.357 average prices (cant recall)
.223 in stock from 7.00 a box to 18.00 a box for high grade

Elite sporting goods, Raton -

Still blaming obama for ammo prices; usually about 4-8 dollars mark up for most any caliber. Some calibers selling for 'armageddon' prices....

Big "R" store. Trinidad Colorado -
.45 inventory is non existent
.40 SW ranges from 16.00 a box to 19.00 a box
Various other rifle / pistol calibers for decent prices....

OK, this is mainly for lil-red and the other Borgerites (perhaps we should start calling ourselves The Borg). I just went by the Borger WalMart. As well as a bunch of rifle ammo (various flavours of .30 cal, .223 etc) they have .40S&W (WWB and Federal), .45 ACP and 9mm JHP. They also have a bunch of bargain .22lr - Federal, JHP, 550 round boxes for $16.47.

Pampa reloading has plenty of ammo in stock including the elusive 380. I picked up 2 boxes of 9mm Critical Defense there.

They also have lots of AR's chambered in .223, 6.8spc, and .308

Crikey, the .380 is a wiley and elusive creetcha not seen in this area in quite a while!

I haven't read all the posts on this thread so this may be repetitive but I saw a listing on craigslist the other day for some primers.  I could not tell from the picture what kind of primers they were but this person was asking $60/box of 1000.  Also, some new 45acp ammo was on there for $25.00/Box of 50.
