Marking your threads as SOLD
« on: May 20, 2009, 10:40:56 pm »
If it's not too much trouble, people selling things on the website should mark their thread sold once the item is no longer for sale. You can do this by editing your original post, and just changing the title. I've done it for most of the ones on here, but I probably  won't be able to keep up with them all. There's been some disappointed people clicking on things they really wanted, only to find out they're too late. Marking them as sold would be awesome. I'd really appreciate it.
Regards,
Robbie

I think leaving them up after the item is sold is a good idea. It gives people a reference as to what things are selling for, but marking them sold will help people who  come in late not have to sift through things that are already gone.

I was going to post something along these lines, but I found Robbie's old post. I don't like clicking on a for sale post, even when it says sold, and only seeing a deleted page. I like to have a reference of what items are going for locally.
