« on: July 21, 2011, 06:23:59 pm »
Amarillo Shooting Complex, (pending an ok from legal) has agreed to allow us to use the range for $12 per person. We are looking at the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month starting in September. With some great ladies only classes coming in November. (We won't be able to meet in October due to APD qualification.) Please let me know if you are interested and I will send you more information.

My wife is interested and at least one of her friends, possibly two.

She might not be able to make every one, but she wants to be part of this.

We appreciate this and will stay tuned.  If you want to pm me some info, or let me know where to send her to get some info.

Thank You

Joshua

Email me or have her email me at thatTexasLady@gmail.com I will send some information.

Don't worry I don't think anyone can make every single one. As long as we have at least 8 ladies at each one, then we are fine. I don't think we will have any problems with that.

I assume showing up just to pick up women is frowned upon?

That's AWESOME!  Be sure to let us know when to watch for it. :)
Another day in this carnival of souls
Another night settles in as quickly as it goes
The memories are shadows, ink on the page
And I can't seem to find my way home

It's supposed to be tomorrow night, but I am in serious need of some help here. I had a lady who was going to go with me to the range in Amarillo in the morning for this interview and her sitter backed out. All you have to do is shoot a few rounds (I have a gun if you don't) and tell the nice reporter why you're interested in the Ladies Shooting Club. If you live in Amarillo and can be there at 9 or Borger I can pick you up at 7:30 (and I'll buy you breakfast) please let me know....They're expecting 2 of us and I don't want to let them down. Thanks!

I'm extremely happy to see this coming to Amarillo.  You see Gunsite and NRA womens instruction advertised all the time, but honestly, who can afford the money and time it would take to participate in one of those? Unfortunately, my gal wont be able to attend any of them since it interferes with her college course schedule, but maybe one day this will expand and require an expanded schedule for those that can't make it to the current ones.  Thank you for doing what no one else has and attempting to better bridge the gender gap we've had in the Amarillo firearms participation.

Thanks so much cprdnick, for the kind words! We will have classes and events sometimes on Saturdays as well. And we do hope to need to expand to more nights in the future.
