Letter Help......
« on: February 21, 2013, 02:57:01 pm »
Well, time after time, in our current political situation, one thing keeps popping back up in my head.
That is, the plentiful video of gun confiscation after hurricane Katrina.
Plainly, can be seen police and National Guard troops dis-arming law abiding citizens.
In one of Chicago's gun bans, the U.S. supreme court over-ruled. Making it clear, that NO ONE has the authority to over-ride our constitution.

Of course, this didn't help Katrina victims, because personnel dispatched to do the deed are ill informed, and will follow whatever they are told.

But, since this IS survival and preparedness, I thought maybe that issue should be addressed.
So I had the idea, to print out some signs, that could be just kept handy, in the event they may become necessary.
A means of preparedness.
A simple sign, that could be placed on your gate, garage door, property entrance, front and back doors, and windows.
Something that would, in the least, raise question to ignorant fools that only have a job in mind, considering nothing else.

See, maybe, if something was spread around like this during Katrina, some of the troops might have a lightbulb go off, and question their superiors, or even go back to their staging area....just a thought...never know.

I have an example, but probably needs some work, fine tuning.
Why don't we put our heads together and come up with one that leaves no doubts?

I'm thinking there should be an addition on the bottom:

I have sworn an OATH, to defend the constitution of the United States of America,
from enemies, both foreign AND domestic...........have you?

Maybe also the quote *-----ANY ORDER THAT IS NOT A LAWFUL ORDER MAKES YOU LIABLE IF YOU FOLLOW IT---- AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OBEY IT...*

Militias, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves and include all men capable of bearing arms. [...] To preserve liberty it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.--Senator Richard Henry Lee, 1788
